Welcome to future Bolton, our home is your home

Bolton is evolving. We are passionate about making it a place people are excited to live, work and visit. Bolton today is undergoing a £1bn transformation across six town centre locations making it a place with ambitious growth plans.

We are one of the largest towns in Europe with a talented workforce. Home to a fantastic university, varied cultural offer, leading businesses, developers and creative start-ups. Our potential is huge with 6.6million annual visitors attracted to Bolton and host to world class events including Ironman UK and Bolton Food and Drink Festival.

The town’s leadership has laid sound and solid foundations for an exciting regeneration programme which is transforming Bolton. Bolton Council has committed £100 million towards the redevelopment of Bolton town centre, putting Bolton’s £1billion town centre masterplan front and centre to achieve our 2030 vision. We have sky high ambitions for the Bolton of tomorrow and a strategic blueprint to achieve them, and a dedicated town centre team.

The current climate presents additional challenges that every investor, developer and business must consider. We acknowledge this and are working in partnership with our current investors and stakeholders to highlight action needed in response to Covid-19. This has been outlined in a recent Investment Prospectus for the Town Centre produced by Deloitte. Bolton offers a competitive opportunity in the right location and is primed for investment.
