Evident that the previous focus on economic recovery is not enough, social recovery is just as important. Now a need for holistic place based recovery. The pandemic has reconnected people with their immediate places – and has had a big impact on heritage – high street and parks and impact on public policy going forwards. Equality needs to be addressed through investment, skills and employment opportunities. Long term commitment to place and the impact on social value.
