BCEGI (Beijing Construction Engineering Group International)

BCEGI (Beijing Construction Engineering Group International) is a Chinese state owned international property developer and construction company, specialising in project delivery through strategic partnership, investment and relationship building.

Since opening its first office in the UK in 2013, BCEGI has gone on to employ over 90 people in the North West region and play an active role in developments where it is, alongside Manchester Airports Group and the Greater Manchester Pension Fund, an equity and construction partner in the £1bn Airport City Manchester; preferred contractor for the £1bn Middlewood Locks development; and main contractor for £90m, 34-storey, New York inspired The Lexington building, at Liverpool Waters.

Most recently, BCEGI has partnered with Midia Group to bring forward, as part of Bolton’s £1.2 billion regeneration, a £250m redevelopment of Crompton Place Shopping Centre, with the aim of reinvigorating the public realm, retail, leisure and workspace offer; promoting town centre living and attracting new visitors.
