To support the town’s growth and oversee the range of projects that are improving the town centre and wider Borough, a Town Deal Board has been established. The Board is led by an independent Chair and brings together senior representatives from local businesses, community and voluntary organisations, health, police, education and the Council. It guides the bids for funding and strategic priorities for the Borough.
